.NET Domain Names
When the Dot NET universal domain name extension was first established in 1985, along with the first domain name extensions on the web, it was meant to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure firms. Taking into consideration that there were no specific requirements about the usage of the top-level extension, though, .NET domains were secured and used for different purposes and by scores of people. This domain extension represents a good substitute of .COM, notably if the desirable domain with the latter domain extension is not available for registration.
Getting a .NET domain with our company is easy and takes merely a couple of minutes, since we partner with an ICANN-certified registrar. You can reserve such a domain for an interval between one and ten years, or, if you already have a domain, you can move it over to our firm and we will renew it once the transfer process is done. Transfers are possible for all domains, which are at least 60 days old, provided that they are not locked and that you have an EPP transfer key – security measures introduced by the Registry to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily update the WHOIS details of the domain through your Control Panel tool, or, if you don’t want this information to be public at all, you can buy a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to check your true contact info.
The .NET domain extension supports internationalized names, so you can pick if you want to target a particular country or area using a domain name in the local language, or the global web community – using a generic English name.
